PC Software Application for Recording Sound Clips?
I’m looking for a freeware or shareware program to run off Win2000 that I can use to make small sound files from a microphone onto my PC. My goal is to record vocabulary for my Spanish class as separate little mp3 files. I’d like a program that can generate filenames for each clip I record so I don’t have to do a “SAVE AS” for everything.
Ultimately, I plan on loading the clips onto my iPod shuffle and putting it on random, so it will randomly test me on my vocab, word for word. Any thoughts?
Yes, I am familiar with the built-in Sound Recorder program, but I fear it will take a zillion years naming all the files.
Thanks for your suggestions.
***Looked at the links, and I don’t think anything here is a real improvement over the built-in programs (for my purposes), plus they cost money, so I can’t say there’s a “best answer” among the first two responses.
Maybe Applian Replay AV or SoundSnooper can help you.
